Returning the vehicle

The following should be available when returning the car at the end of the contract/lease period, if provided when assuming possession of the car:
  • Car certificate
  • Fuel pass
  • Maintenance and service booklets
  • Manuals or instruction booklets
  • Car audio and/or navigation code
  • All keys and remote controls provided
  • Wheel locks and light metal rims
  • Removable dashboards or other security cards
  • TPL insurance policy
Before returning your car at the end of the contract to Business Lease, the car should be clean both inside and out so that the condition of the car can be properly assessed. If necessary, Business Lease can arrange paid cleaning of your car at the site.

All observed damage that exceeds normal wear will be checked with the Business Lease Damage department for prior notification. If the damage was reported, you will only be charged for uninsured damage events If the damage has not been reported, we will charge you with the loss of value resulting from the existing damage. As a member of the PZWLP Business Lease aligns with its policy related to fair wear and tear. This is the wear and tear Guidebook.

In the event of missing audio or navigation equipment or other accessories included in the lease contract, or options built in standard from the factory, repair value will be charged. If damage was caused when disassembling these items, or when disassembling accessories that were not included in the lease contract, repair costs will also be charged.
Any advertising and lettering should be removed after termination of the contract period but before return of the car. Repair costs will be charged for any damage caused to the paintwork during removal. Business Lease can take care of this for you after the car has been returned, with costs to be passed on to you following completed repairs.
We hope that we have provided you with clear and complete instructions on returning your car at the end of your contract. If you still have any questions, please feel free to contact us during office hours.
