International road insurance

If your car is insured through Business Lease, we will send you the required green card, which represents a valid TPL insurance.

Prior to any foreign trip, please advise Business Lease, for the purpose of receiving appropriate permission for the Business Lease vehicle to be used outside Poland. 

Depending on regulations applicable in the country that you are traveling to, you may require consent (a Statement) from the vehicle owner. The Statement authorizes you to utilize a vehicle that you do not own (i.e. your name is not on the registration document). As required, Business Lease will issue authorization together with any other necessary documents. 

Based on information regarding the destination of your trip and countries that you will be traveling through, Business Lease will verify whether the traffic insurance that you hold also allows driving in these countries. 

Verify whether the leased vehicle has international casualty insurance and international third-party liability insurance (the so called “green card”).
